The Hillsboro Garden Club, in association with the Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, has announced their 2023 landscaping winners.
In the community category, the First Baptist Church of Hillsboro at 127 S. West St. and the Hillsboro House of Deliverance at 230 W. South Street were the winners.
In the residential category, the Lacalamito residence at 124 W. Collins Ave. and the Butler residence at 409 W. Walnut St. (a major cleanup of the Butler property was done by previous owners) were the winners.
Each winner has been given a certificate and a note thanking them for beautifying the local community.
The next meeting of the Hillsboro Garden Club will be Sept. 26 at Floral Hall on the Highland County Fairgrounds. The program will be the fall plant, bulb and garden-related auction and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
All gardeners are invited.
