Hillsboro FFA Chapter inducts Greenhands

The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently hosted Greenhand Night for its new members. The officers led a meeting in the auditorium to induct new members. During this meeting it also had committee reports over the national convention, job interview, Ag Day, October meeting, food science and the Family Farm Home community service. The members also had the opportunity to listen to Lunke Jennings, state FFA president, give an awesome speech over knowing your worth through agriculture. These members were able to bring parents and family to watch them receive a memorable award. While the members were getting inducted, other chapter members were able to cheer them on. Being a Greenhand in FFA requires you to have satisfactory plans for supervised agricultural experiences. During the ceremony, the new inductees were rewarded with their Greenhand pen. Now that these members hold a place in they chapter, they have the opportunity to make an impact throughout the Hillsboro FFA. Pictured below are our newest Greenhands, the 2023-24 Hillsboro FFA officers, and state president Luke Jennings.
