According to court documents, around Nov. 26, 2022, a patrol officer started a traffic stop on a white SUV that didn’t have a license plate. Alongside the driver, there were three passengers in the vehicle with Queen in the back seat on the driver’s side. The driver told the patrol officer that they didn’t have a driver’s license.

Another patrol officer and a sergeant got to the scene to assist. The first patrol officer told the driver to exit the vehicle and advised the driver of their Miranda Rights. They were placed in the patrol officer’s vehicle. As the sergeant approached the white SUV, the officer noticed that Queen and the other passenger in the back seat were moving around.

The sergeant said the two people in the back “appeared to be stuffing something in between them,” according to court documents. All of the people in the vehicle were asked to exit it so the vehicle could be searched and inventoried before being towed. As Queen exited, the sergeant said that they saw a clear plastic bag that contained residue inside of Queen’s pocket.

Queen said that they used meth recently and that the meth that he’d used was located in the plastic bag. Queen was put in hand restraints and placed in the back of the sergeant’s cruiser. The other two passengers were told to stand in front of the second patrol officer’s vehicle.

During the inventory, 13 white pills with R180 printed on them were found inside a passenger’s purse. That person was put in handcuffs in the back of the second patrol officer’s cruiser. A hypodermic syringe was found above the driver’s side sun visor. The last passenger was released from the scene.

The three other passengers were transported to the Greenfield Police Department. After searching Queen to be processed, a small amount of crystalline substance wrapped in a plastic bag was found in a front pocket of his jeans. When he was asked what the substance was, he said it was marijuana. The substance was submitted for analysis and found to contain meth.
