The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:

Jan. 22

INCIDENT

A business in the 1500 block of U.S. Route 50 advised receiving a counterfeit bill. This incident remains under investigation.

Jan. 23

INCIDENTS

A resident of the 8900 block of Patton Road reported an ongoing property dispute with a neighbor. After investigation, it was determined the incident was civil. The complainant was advised to contact their attorney.

A deputy responded to the 8700 block of Brannen Road to a complaint of a vehicle vandalized. This incident remains under investigation.

INCIDENT

A business in the 11000 block of North Shore Drive reported shoplifting. This incident remains under investigation.
