The Highland County Sheriff’s Office has released the following information:

April 7

INCIDENTS

A resident of the 12000 block of S.R. 506 reported a domestic disturbance. After investigation, the caller refused to file charges and was advised of the eviction process.

A resident of the 4200 block of U.S. Route 50 reported their dumpster was filled with building materials. After investigation, the owner of the building materials was located and agreed to remove them from the dumpster. The owner declined charges.

April 8

INCIDENTS

A deputy responded to the 1600 block of S.R. 134 after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, charges for domestic violence are pending for a male who left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival.

A resident of the 5700 block of Warlamount Road reported a child was struck by a paint ball from a male in a black Chevy pickup truck traveling westbound. The child suffered minor injury. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 11000 block of S.R. 124 advised a neighbor was shooting at dogs. This incident remains under investigation.

A resident of the 12000 block of Barrett Mill Road reported threats and harassment. This incident remains under investigation.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Olivia G. Yost, 34, of Peebles, driving under suspension.

Donald R. Allen Jr., 48, of Hillsboro, operating a vehicle without a license.

Emily L. Allen, 20, of Hillsboro, persistent disorderly conduct.

Austin L. Harner, 23, of Leesburg, failure to file annual registration and unsafe vehicle.
