LaRose Lincoln Day speaker

The Highland County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Wednesday, March 22 at the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church, 133 E. Walnut St., in Hillsboro.

Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner catered by Shoelaces Cathering will be served at 6 p.m. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LeRose will be the keynote speaker. Local Republican officeholders and candidates will be introduced.

Tickets are available from any central committee member or by calling 937-402-1866 or 937-393-1067. The suggested ticket donation is $25.

LaRose has been serving since 2019 and is the state’s chief elections officer. He has worked to ensure the accuracy of Ohio’s voter roles and put more resources than ever into cybersecurity improvements so that Ohio’s elections are secure, accurate and fair.

LaRose has served as a U.S. Reservist, U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, and as a state senator. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he lives in central Ohio with his wife and three daughters.
