The annual Mick reunion was held Aug. 20, 2017 at Pike Lake State Park. The weather was great, there was a good crowd and everyone missed the ones who were ill or had to work. Hopefully, they will be able to make it next year.
We suspect that there were some that didn’t sign the book. Jimmy Mick gave the prayer and announced that the Mick Reunion has been around for over 65 years. Dinner began around 1 p.m. There was a lot of great food, including a variety of meats, casseroles, vegetables, desserts and drinks. We would like to thank everyone who came. The auction will be back next year and maybe the T-shirts.
Everyone enjoyed the playground and cornhole game and some walked the trails. We were happy to see some new faces this year.
