The Hope House Christian Counseling Center held a three-day Hope is Rising event during the Festival of the Bells in Hillsboro. For three days the counseling center had people passing by write down their biggest regrets on a chalkboard. The center erased the board each night and started with a clean slate each day. Then on Saturday evening the center tied each regret to a balloon and lifted them up to heaven, symbolizing that we do not have to live with our regrets forever.
