New officer, dispatcher join HPD

The Hillsboro Police Department is welcoming two new members to its staff. William Childers and Katie Keeton were sworn-in Friday by Safety and Service Director Todd Wilkin as a police officer and dispatcher, respectively. Childers, a graduate of East Clinton High School, comes to HPD from the Wright State University police force. Keeton, a graduate of Wilmington High School, recently served three years with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. Pictured from left are HPD Chief Todd Whited, Keeton, Childers and Wilkin.
