Highland Family Health Care open house

Highland Family Eye Care (HFEC), located at 311 Jefferson St., Greenfield and owned and operated by Dr. Sarah Wertsbaugh, will host at open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

The first 30 people to walk in and schedule an eye exam will receive 50 percent of glasses and/or a contacts coupon. There will be a raffle for four designer pairs of sunglasses, a free Jerry’s Pizza, a ribbon-cutting, photo booth and more.

Wertsbaugh is a 2007 Hillsboro High School graduate who completed her optometry education in 2014 at the Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Before graduating she completed her clinical rotations in Vernal, Utah at an Indian Health Service and Lexington, Ky. at Commonwealth Eye Surgery. Upon graduating she worked in Mason for two years before realizing there is noplace like home.

In March 2017, Wertsbaugh purchased Dr. Ropar’s Greenfield location and has been there since.

On a more personal note, Wertsbaugh resides in New Market Township in the seclusion of the woods. She loves the great outdoors, running, playing sports, gardening, and most of all playing Frisbee with her 2-year-old border collie, Ruger.

HFEC’s primary focus is to provide and maintain superior ocular health through high quality eye exams, while at the same time meeting all vision expectations and needs.

The open house is open to the public.
