So, I got a cold.

There’s a wonderful force helping to drive the future of the city of Hillsboro. It’s a plan and it’s called “Imagine Hillsboro”. More precisely, it’s a well conceived strategic plan, much like you would expect to find driving the goals and objectives of a well-run small business, government or corporation.

Almost.

I see him painting every afternoon.

President Shimon Peres was one of Israel’s greatest statesmen. He once said, “I learned that public service is a privilege that must be based on moral foundations.” Prophetically, he also said before his death in 2016 that “We are living in a world where image-making is important, so we ignore the facts.”

Last time we explored how to use an old smartphone as a security camera and looked at several apps to help make them work that way. This time, as promised, we’ll discuss stand-alone security cameras and examine some of the things one should consider when looking to purchase one or more of them.

Our competition in the world is China. Moreover, competitively, we live in a world that is supercharged with sophisticated semiconductor silicon microchips, artificial intelligence, and precision guidance weapons systems. And all this high-tech competition is taking place in a world trying to fully comprehend its climate crisis.
