This is a story told by my grandmother, Osa Callie Beekman McKinley. It was told to me by her when I was a young man and confirmed by my aunt, Alberta Beekman McKinley.

I would like to know who has jurisdiction over Liberty Park and allows any “movement?”

At the end of 2022, the 134th Ohio General Assembly passed House Bill 458, which made a host of legislative changes to the administration of elections in Ohio. These changes will be in effect for the May 2, 2023 primary/special election, so we at the board of elections would like to take some time to help voters by explaining the changes here.

The year 2023 kicks off a new year and our annual capital campaign. The Highland County Homeless Shelter has been proudly serving the community for over 18 years. We continue to strive to expand our programs and offerings to the community. We write to ask you to support our organization in 2023 with a monetary donation to our annual fundraising campaign.

Winter is upon us, which means snow and ice, which means fallen trees. I am writing this in hopes no one will make the same mistake I did.

As a disabled person in need of housing actually fit for a person to live in. Our housing coordinator has no clue what she is doing. I’m not sure if anyone else is having the same issues, but I am disabled. Awaiting housing and expecting actual responses from her is not happening. If I were to hold my breath waiting on her to call me back after leaving several phone messages, only to be put off for days either because she isn’t in the office or just not feeling the need to contact you.
