There was reportedly a large structure fire Tuesday on Webertown Road near Lynchburg. On Wednesday a spokesperson for the Lynchburg Area Joint Fire and Ambulance District said the district could not release any information on the fire because it was still under investigation.

SATH has announced that radio stations C-103 in West Union, 99.5 in Georgetown and Good Guys Radio/TV will sposnor the 21st annual SATH Radio-A-Thon from 6-10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It will take place at the C-103/99.5 radio station.
