DAR helping WAA at Hillsboro Cemetery
National nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) and the Waw-wil-a-way Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will be joining in the mission to remember, honor and teach by placing wreaths on the graves at the official location of the Hillsboro Cemetery for 2023.
Leesburg celebrates new village office
The village of Leesburg celebrated the opening of its new administrative office with a ribbon cutting from the Highland County Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 30. The village moved into 55 S. Fairfield St. in Leesburg, previously owned by Kay Simmons.

100 Turkey Bingo at senior center

A fundraiser to provide a prosthetic arm and myoelectric hand for 10-year-old Colton Keech of Hillsboro will be held at the Lake View Loft in Hillsboro from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19.
