Hillsboro junior Corbin Winkle took first place among 101 runners and Lady Indian sophomore Jailyn Williams took second place out of 36 female runners last Saturday at the Washington Club Lions Invitational Cross Country Meet held at the Fayette County Family YMCA.

The Ohio High School Athletic Association released the official weekly football computer ratings. The computer ratings are released every Tuesday beginning in the fifth week of the season, leading up to the final report on Sunday, Oct. 22, when 448 schools – the top 16 in each region – will qualify for the playoffs.

Those two losses realistically took them out of the playoff hunt and made many of Reds country come to realization that this team is going to miss the playoffs.
