COLUMBUS — In the OHSAA Division III State Track and Field Championships, Hallie Haines of Fairfield clocked 60.9 Friday in the 400-meter dash, finishing seventh in her heat. She did not advance to Saturday’s finale.

Chisman signs with Tiffin

Brady Chisman, a 2023 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School, has signed to play college basketball at Tiffin University. He was a four-year varsity player for the Mustang basketball program. He was named All-Southern Hills Athletic Conference in 2022 and 2023, named All-District 14 second team in 2023 and OPSWA All-District 1st team (2023) and 3rd team (2022). He was a member of the 2023 sectional championship team and scored 1,031 career points as a Mustang. Pitzer signs with Heidelburg

Trey Pitzer has signed to play soccer at Heidelberg University. He is a 2023 graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School. He was named All-Southern Hills Athletic Conference (2021 and 2022) and was the Player of the Year in 2022. He was also named first-team All-Southeast District (2022) and second-team All Ohio (2022). Pitzer was a member of four Southern Hills Athletic Conference championship teams, three sectional championship and two district championship teams at Lynchburg-Clay.
