Wilmington College’s Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program achieved the most significant milestone yet in what has been described as its “very exciting and rewarding journey” since its establishment in 2021. The American Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) in December formally granted the institution accreditation.

Day of Giving is event where the Mowrystown FFA Chapter makes all sorts of things in different classrooms it gives back to the community. The Mowrystown FFA had another successful year with the annual day. All kinds of things were made including dog toys, blankets, food boxes, etc. Everyone in the school participated in making this year a success, including all the business that sponsored the FFA, which it is very thankful for.

Drama club stuffs the sleigh

The Hillsboro High School Drama Club (thespian troupe) recently held its 2nd annual Stuff the Sleigh fundraiser and the group said it was a big success. The HHS students singing, performing jokes, comedy skits course presenting Santa Claus at the end. The club ended up collecting a whole sleigh full of toys and donated them to the local Samaritan Outreach. They look forward to doing it again next year. The Hillsboro FFA Chapter recently hosted a job interview contest. This contest provides members with employment skills along with important speaking abilities.
