Hillsboro FFA students earn credentials
Seven Hillsboro FFA students earned the Ohio AgriBusiness Association Agribusiness and Production Systems Certification during the 2023-24 school year. The students are Presley Blankenship, Ramsey Haines, Addyson Miles, Abigail Miller, Abigail Rudy, Gracie Thoroman and Samantha Tipton.

WC’s 13th Earth Day | Ag Day
Wilmington College is holding its 13th annual Earth Day | Ag Day on April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Center for the Sciences and Agriculture. It’s a day to share the connection between the Earth and agriculture. The event will feature Collegiate Farm Bureau’s third annual PARK(ing) Day — a national celebration of parking spaces turned into public spaces.

Southern State Community College will hold its 48th commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Patriot Center on the central campus in Hillsboro.
FHS FFA Greenhouse Sale
The Fairfield FFA Greenhouse Sale begins April 8th and will continue while supplies last. The FFA will be offering a variety of flowers and vegetables including begonias, pansies, petunias, impatiens, coleus, cucumbers, tomatoes, squash and more. The greenhouse will be open for browsing from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or by appointment.
